Application Analyst

The Role

We are seeking an Applications Analyst to joinour growing Applications team at IPH Limited in Manila.

This role is ideal for a technically strong, detail-oriented professional with experience supporting, configuring, and enhancing enterprise applications and reporting platforms. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, project teams, and third-party vendors to ensure our business applications are stable, secure, and continuously improving.

Reporting into the Applications Services Manager (CAN), the Applications Analyst, will be involved across the full application lifecycle, from analysis and design through implementation, support, and optimization, while collaborating with a global IT team supporting users across multiple regions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for applications, databases, and scripting.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and deliver sustainable solutions.
• Develop database scripts for data extraction and reporting.
• Monitor application and database performance; apply patches, upgrades, and configuration changes.
• Support projects through analysis, design, testing, deployment, and transition to BAU.
• Follow SDLC and formal change management processes; produce technical documentation.
• Participate in defect triage, data warehouse updates, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work with third-party vendors on testing and issue resolution.
• Conduct user training and maintain support documentation.
• Perform other duties as required.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in application support, systems analysis, or a similar IT role.
• Experience installing, configuring, and supporting enterprise applications and databases.
• Strong skills in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with some of the following: PowerApps, Power Automate, Azure Web Apps, Azure Logic Apps - Power BI / MS Fabric, BI and data warehouse technologies - .NET, SQL, SSIS/SSRS/SSAS, ETL tools - JavaScript, React, Python, SharePoint - Anaqua, iManage, Elite 3E (asset)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and ability to work independently.
• Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
