You own the high-volume invoice lifecycle for a US-based logistics client, ensuring thousands of freight and parcel carrier invoices are processed, validated, and paid with absolute precision. You are not just processing payments; you are a financial gatekeeper responsible for resolving complex discrepancies and maintaining the integrity of large-scale shipping data. You eliminate financial friction by maintaining a disciplined audit trail and ensuring all carrier relations are managed through structured, professional communication.

This is a high-volume, results-oriented role that exists to fuel the logistics continuity of a major US operation. Best suited for finance professionals who thrive in structured night-shift environments, value data accuracy above all else, and prefer clear operational metrics over ambiguity.

YOU'RE LIKELY A STRONG FIT IF YOU HAVE

• At least 1 year of AP (Accounts Payable) experience
• Strong English communication skills, written and verbal
• Proficiency in Excel and internet-based applications
• A proactive mindset focused on accuracy and efficiency
• The ability to handle large volumes of invoices daily
• Night shift work experience

RESPONSIBILITY PILLARS

Transactional Integrity & Volume Processing

You own the heartbeat of the carrier payment cycle, ensuring zero downtime in logistics operations.

• Execute accurate online and phone payment processing for a high daily volume of carrier invoices
• Maintain a single source of truth by validating thousands of freight records against carrier contracts
• Prepare detailed, audit-ready reports documenting payments made and pending exceptions

Dispute Resolution & Communication

You act as the primary bridge between the accounting department and external carrier partners.

• Resolve complex billing discrepancies through proactive communication with carriers and logistics team members
• Manage time-sensitive financial workflows to prevent late fees or service disruptions
• Document all communication trails to maintain compliance and transparency within the AP lifecycle

Process Improvement & Special Projects

You contribute to the evolution of the finance function to match the client's scaling needs.

• Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to identify and implement AP workflow efficiencies
• Lead special financial projects to enhance data capture or reporting accuracy
• Execute additional financial administration duties with high-speed accuracy and minimal oversight
