Job Description

This role will oversee the organization's anti‑money laundering and regulatory compliance efforts, ensuring alignment with applicable laws, regulatory expectations, and internal governance standards. You will serve as a key point of accountability for AML programs, KYC/KYB controls, and regulatory coordination, working closely with Legal, GRC, and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the organization's AML strategy and execution, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and business operations.
  • Establish, enhance, and maintain KYC/KYB policies and monitoring frameworks, ensuring they remain effective and up to date.
  • Evaluate high‑risk accounts and transactions, identify red flags, and determine appropriate actions including escalation or enhanced due diligence.
  • Interpret and apply financial services regulations, consumer protection rules, and related legal requirements relevant to the business.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure AML controls are embedded into daily operations and consistently followed.
  • Provide advisory support on AML‑related matters and escalate significant issues to the Head of Legal and GRC as needed.
  • Ensure AML processes are well‑documented, auditable, and operationally sound.
  • Support regulatory engagements, examinations, and audits, including those led by BSP and AMLC.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Law, or a closely related discipline.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in AML compliance, regulatory compliance, or system audit within banking or financial services; fintech exposure is highly advantageous.
  • Strong working knowledge of BSP and AMLC regulatory frameworks and expectations.
  • CAMS certification is preferred but not required.
  • Experience supporting or participating in regulatory audits or examinations is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across technical, operational, and leadership stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Work Location: BGC, Taguig

Work Setup: Hybrid (2D onsite, 3D WFH)

Work Schedule: Flexible (Can start between 8am to 11am).
