Position Summary
The Analyst, Network works as a part of operations team to perform project implementation and daily operation support of the company's enterprise data network. He / She performs general configuration management, SW upgrades, optimization of all enterprise network systems, integration and problem isolation/troubleshooting of large-scale global enterprise data networks.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provides Enterprise IT 24X7 network operation support.
- Performs daily monitoring, analysis and administration of network operations.
- Provides guidance and advisory to technical support in the installation and
maintenance of LAN, Firewall, DMZ WAN networks.
- Plans, designs and implements Datacenter and Campus LAN/WAN networks.
- Evaluates hardware and software solutions for suitable network implementation.
- Install and builds networks infrastructure for multiple properties.
- Plans and configures monitoring tools to ensure service levels are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolves networking problems.
- Develops and reviews standard operation procedure for support operations.
- Provides technical and operation support as well as conducts training to end-users.
- Maintains inventory listing of LAN/WAN deployment.
Qualifications
I. Experience
- 3+ years of relevant enterprise IT network experience
- In-depth knowledge and experience in computer/network security, network vulnerability, and network risk management, network security software, IP addressing schemes, penetration testing
- In-depth experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies
- Hands-on experience on Cisco VLAN, Firewall, EIGRP, OSPF, VPN, port security, wireless controllers, and redundant setup
- Experience in structure cabling system with CAT and fiber cables
- Exposure to Network or Command Centre Operations
II. Education
- Possesses Diploma academic or relevant professional qualifications
- Preferably with CCNA/CCNP certifications
III. Skills / Competencies
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, fast technology learner and ability to independently perform tasks.
- Ability to troubleshoot network problems with minimal supervision
- Able to work under pressure
