Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Amazon Catalog Specialist to serve as the eyes on our account, ensuring catalog integrity, account health, and content optimization across multiple Amazon marketplaces (US, UK, Canada, Germany). The ideal candidate will have strong technical proficiency in Seller Central operations, flat file management, and Excel/Google Sheets, with a meticulous eye for catching issues before they escalate.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Health Monitoring & Alert Management

  • Daily monitoring of account health metrics across all marketplaces (US, UK, Canada, Germany).
  • Check performance notifications and respond to account issues proactively.
  • Monitor and manage listing alerts including BuyBox issues, hijackers, suppressed listings, inactive listings, and suspended ASINs.
  • Coordinate with Amazon Seller Support to resolve complex listing and account issues.
  • Manually review all product listings regularly to identify anomalies that automated alerts may miss.
  • Monitor critical email notifications and ensure proper routing to prevent account deactivation issues.

Catalog Management & Content Updates


  • Overhaul and update existing product content using assets from the company website.
  • Ensure all product listings maintain consistent, high-quality content across marketplaces.
  • Fill catalog gaps by adding products that exist on the website but not on Amazon, or exist in one marketplace but not others.
  • Create and manage A+ Content and Enhanced Brand Content.
  • Support new product launches with complete listing setup and optimization.

Flat File Management & Technical Operations


  • Execute Amazon flat-file uploads for listing creation, editing, and parent/child mapping.
  • Manage bulk listing updates and catalog maintenance using Excel-based flat files.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve flat file upload errors and listing suppressions.
  • Maintain organized spreadsheets for tracking catalog updates and account health metrics.

Performance Monitoring & Optimization


  • Monitor ASIN performance including review monitoring, BSR, volume, ranking, and indexing status.
  • Conduct keyword research and implement optimization strategies to improve listing visibility.
  • Track brand analytics including search terms and Amazon Search Query Performance.
  • Monitor competitor insights including pricing, analysis, and market positioning.
  • Manage promotional campaigns including Sales, Outlet Deals, and Lightning Deals.

Required Experience:


  • Experience in Amazon catalog management and account health monitoring.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with ability to spot issues and anomalies.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, data organization).
  • Experience with Amazon

Schedule & Location Setup


Location: Fully Remote

Schedule: 10am to 7pm US PST (1 Hour Lunch Break)

Work days: Monday to Friday
