The Aircraft Engineer is in-charge on the evaluation, incorporation, and implementation of all Airworthiness Directives (AD), applicable Manufacturer's Publications, aircraft and equipment modifications. He or she provides engineering analysis, recommendations, and means of implementation such as technical publications on the fleet's in-service issues and on the improvement of the airline's operations.
Who Are We Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree Holder of Aeronautical Engineering
- With valid PRC License
- Experience in Airline Maintenance Operations is an advantage
- Excellent in Oral and Written Communication Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other systems related to Airline Operations
Major Responsibility Areas
- Evaluates Airworthiness Directives (AD), Service Bulletins (SB), and other technical publications from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or Aviation Authority including its related systems and components and determine applicability on the company's aircraft fleet.
- Evaluates and issues recommendations on Aircraft Manufacturer and Vendor proposals for aircraft and components reliability Improvements and modifications wherein implementation is technically and economically advantageous.
- Provides line (e.g. Aircraft on Ground) and base maintenance (e.g. Heavy Maintenance Visit (HMV)) support of PAL express fleet.
- Supply troubleshooting recommendations to Maintenance Provider for rectification of aircraft defects beyond the parameters of Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM). Coordinates with the Aircraft/Component Manufacturer as required by operations, in order to maintain every aircraft in service.
