AI Specialist

The Opportunity

We're hiring a remote AI Specialist to identify, build, and implement practical AI and automation solutions across a growing, systems-driven organization.

This is a hands-on builder's role. You'll take real business challenges, recommend the right tools or integrations, and turn ideas into working solutions that reduce manual effort and improve how the company operates. You'll work closely with leadership, IT, and business teams to improve processes, connect systems, and support the company's broader AI adoption.

This role is built for someone who can sit with a messy workflow, understand what's actually slowing it down, and ship something that fixes it, then document it so it keeps working. What You'll Do

AI Solutions & Automation

• Identify opportunities to improve workflows using AI and automation
• Build prototypes, agents, workflows, and integrations
• Support Claude and other approved AI platforms
• Turn successful ideas into reliable, documented solutions

Systems Integration

• Connect AI tools with business systems using APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms
• Identify and implement existing MCP connectors and tools
• Build custom MCP solutions where needed
• Support integrations across CRM, ERP, HRIS, telephony, e-commerce, reporting, and knowledge systems

Business Process Analysis

• Meet with teams to understand workflows, pain points, and manual tasks
• Translate business needs into practical technical solutions
• Document current and improved processes
• Prioritize projects based on impact, effort, and feasibility

Data & Reporting

• Connect and analyze data from multiple systems
• Support AI-enabled reporting, forecasting, and business intelligence
• Improve data access, quality, and usability

Adoption & Project Support

• Train and support employees using AI tools
• Create guides, documentation, and reusable workflows
• Track project progress, risks, and results
• Promote secure and responsible AI use

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 3–7+ years of experience in AI, automation, integrations, data, or business systems
• Experience with Claude, Anthropic APIs, or MCP
• Experience with generative AI tools and large language models
• Familiarity with APIs, databases, webhooks, or workflow automation platforms
• Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills
• Able to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Resourceful, organized, and comfortable working independently

Helpful, not required:

• Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or SQL
• Experience with Salesforce and/or Infor Syteline
• Experience with tools such as Power Automate, Make, n8n, or Zapier
• Familiarity with AWS Bedrock, Azure AI, or similar platforms
• Background in manufacturing, operations, finance, or enterprise systems
