Job Description

Overview

You will execute the day to day operations of RealPage's AI governance program. Your work spans maintaining the central AI registry, processing intake requests, conducting risk assessments, and preparing reports for leadership. You will partner with product teams, engineering, and business units to ensure AI systems are properly documented, classified, and managed according to governance standards. You will also help evangelize responsible AI concepts across the organization as part of your interactions with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the AI system inventory, documenting new AI systems as they are discovered or deployed and ensuring data quality and completeness across the inventory.
  • Process AI use case intake requests by conducting initial triage, gathering required information from requestors, and preparing intake packages for risk assessment review.
  • Conduct risk assessments for AI systems using established frameworks and tiering methodologies, documenting risk factors, control requirements, and recommended approval paths.
  • Coordinate quarterly AI discovery campaigns by scheduling meetings with stakeholders, collecting system information, and documenting findings in the governance registry.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on AI governance metrics including registry statistics, intake volumes, risk distribution, and program health indicators.
  • Support compliance activities by maintaining evidence repositories, preparing audit documentation, and organizing control artifacts for regulatory examinations and customer assurance requests.
  • Collaborate with procurement to review vendor contracts, identify embedded AI capabilities in third party systems, and document these systems in the AI inventory.
  • Assist business units in classifying their AI initiatives by providing guidance on documentation requirements, risk tier determinations, and governance process navigation.
  • Develop and maintain governance process documentation including standard operating procedures, intake forms, assessment templates, and guidance materials.
  • Promote responsible AI awareness through stakeholder interactions, helping teams understand governance requirements and the importance of AI oversight.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems , Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in governance, risk management, compliance, or operations roles
  • Experience working with cross functional teams in a technology or product environment
  • Familiarity with GRC platforms or registry management systems ( OneTrust , ServiceNow, or similar tools)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain data quality in operational systems
  • Travel up to 5% for training and team meetings
  • Preferred:
  • Experience with AI governance or AI risk assessment concepts
  • Familiarity with AI risk frameworks (NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001)
  • Experience in property management or real estate technology industry
  • Understanding of Fair Housing regulations and their application to AI systems

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Basic understanding of AI and machine learning technologies including common use cases and deployment patterns
  • Ability to apply risk assessment methodologies consistently across diverse AI systems
  • Strong technical writing skills with ability to create clear documentation for both technical and business audiences
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple work streams and meet deadlines
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools for reporting and metrics
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Detail oriented mindset with commitment to accuracy and data integrity
  • Ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate issues or seek guidance
  • Process oriented thinking with ability to identify opportunities for workflow improvements
  • Willingness to learn in a rapidly evolving AI governance landscape
