Job Summary

Join a small, high-ownership team where you ship impactful AI features used by global enterprises. You'll help to guide model selection, design architectures, and see your work land in production fast. What You Will Do

  • Design & build AI microservices (Python/FastAPI) that our core SaaS offering – EB360 (PHP/MySQL) – consumes via secure APIs.
  • Prototype, evaluate, and operationalize LLMs (Bedrock, Hugging Face, frontier models) and classical ML for summarisation, autofill, validation, and agentic querying.
  • Implement RAG pipelines: document ingestion, embedding generation, vector search, context packaging, and guardrails (prompt injection defence, PII redaction).
  • Document processing: OCR (Textract), NER (Comprehend/LLM), schema mapping, confidence scoring, and human-in-the-loop review for Due Dilligence Questionnaires.
  • Build secure, scalable data flows: S3 + Glue/Lambda/Step Functions; integrate with the data warehouse and EB360 data stores.
  • Own production quality: testing, observability, tracing, model evaluation, A/Bs, latency budgets, error handling, and rollback plans.
  • Governance & compliance: apply secure-by-default practices (IAM least privilege, KMS, Secrets Manager, audit logs), contribute to SOC 2 controls (access, change, incident).
  • Cross-functional collaboration: partner with Product, Engineering, Client Success, and the Data Engineers to scope, deliver, and iterate.
  • Developer enablement: use/evangelise Cursor/Windsurf/Kiro for productivity; write internal docs, patterns, and reusable components.

You will be instrumental in transforming Ethixbase360's data landscape into a strategic asset, enabling smarter decisions, faster innovation, and stronger client outcomes.

Who You Are

REQUIRED

  • 5+ years building production-grade software/services; 3+ years in applied ML/LLMs (or equivalent portfolio).
  • Strong Python (ideally FastAPI, asyncio, testing); comfortable with Docker and microservice patterns.
  • LLM & agentic experience: prompt engineering, context engineering, RAG, evaluation, and safety best practices.
  • AWS proficiency: API Gateway/Lambda or ECS Fargate, S3, IAM, KMS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail; familiarity with Bedrock/SageMaker or equivalent.
  • Data & integrations: experience integrating with legacy stacks (e.g., PHP/MySQL) via APIs/webhooks/queues (SQS), handling schemas and migrations.
  • Security-first mindset: encryption, secret management, logging, role design; practical appreciation of SOC 2 principles.
  • Product sense: translating requirements into shippable features; iterating based on usage/metrics.
  • Excellent communication in a fully remote, cross-time-zone environment.
  • Be a holder of valid documents with permission to work in Phillipines.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with OpenSearch (vector) or pgvector; Aurora/Redshift; Textract/Comprehend.
  • Hugging Face model deployment (SageMaker/EC2 GPU), quantization, inference optimization.
  • LangChain/LlamaIndex, embeddings (e.g., E5/Mistral/Instructor), guardrails (prompt injection, jailbreak defence).
  • Familiarity with third‑party risk/compliance domain, DDQs, and public data sources (D&B, corporate registries).
  • Frontend integration basics (React/TypeScript) for internal tooling or demo UIs.
  • Experience in UK business hours collaboration (08:00–18:00 GMT), given stakeholder overlap.

What else do you need to know

This role sits within the Data & AI team, reporting directly to the Director, Data & AI, and Phillipines based. The role will work alongside colleagues and cross-functional teams across all three regions.

Recruitment process:

Stage 1: P&T Screen call (15 - 20 minutes)

Stage 2: Interview with the hiring manager (45 - 60 minutes)

Stage 3: Interview with the Head of the Department (Tech & AI) (90 - 120 minutes)

As part of this hiring requirement, you will be required to present physically at any of our designated HR Partner office during the offer signing stage.
