Mission of Function:
The position is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, operationalsupport, and performance optimization of the Advanced DistributionManagement System (ADMS) and its core functionalities (DMS, OMS, SCADA) toensure the reliable, efficient, and modern operation of the Distribution Utility.
Job Responsibilities:
1.ADMS/SCADA SYSTEMS (Configuration, Troubleshooting, Maintenance)
2.NETWORK MODELING & STATE ESTIMATION
- Maintains and updates the system database and network model to ensureaccuracy for real- time monitoring, control, and state estimation.
- Develops and executes rigorous test plans for new ADMS functionalities,system upgrades, and patches.
3.DISTRIBUTION AUTOMATION & APPLICATIONS
- Conducts engineering analysis and evaluation of distribution network dataand events to identify system performance improvements.
- Supports the implementation and testing of advanced ADMS applicationssuch as FLISR, VVO, and DERMS.
4.POWER SYSTEMS ENGINEERING & OPERATIONS
- Ensures the ADMS functions align with overall Electrical Power Systemsprinciples and Distribution Network Operations.
- Supports System Operation Engineers during system emergencies,utilizing ADMS data for safe and reliable restoration.
5.PROJECT MANAGEMENT & DATA SCRIPTING
- Implement ADMS-related projects.
- Utilizes programming and scripting (e.g., SQL, Python) for customreporting, data extraction, and automation of routine ADMS maintenancetasks.
- Collaborates with IT and security teams to implement and ensurecybersecurity best practices for the ADMS infrastructure.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Registered Electrical Engineer
