Qualification required/desired:
The responsibilities, although not limited to, will include:
General Admin Task:
- Input financial transactions into Xero with precision and in a timely manner.
- Retrieving files from an email inbox, uploading them into a system, entering some additional data and information in that system and/or others, and requires some further data inputs for recording keeping.
- Emailing suppliers for Quotes and pricing
- Preparation of contracts and forms including explanation of terms and conditions
- Additionally, the role needs to support emailing simple reports based on the records kept or from reports run in the systems.
Compliance
- Stay informed about relevant financial and Company regulations and ensure adherence to them.
Communication
- Effectively communicate financial and general information with team members and management.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data entry and general administration tasks, preferably in a building construction business or similar environment.
- 2-3 years relevant experience as Admin Assistant support. Preferred who worked on an Australian background.
- Proficiency with accounting software and tools preferably with Xero
- Ability to measure things accurately and knows their basic Math.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Solid understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
