Job Summary
The Administrative Intern provides administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the office. The intern assists with document management, data entry, record keeping, and other routine office tasks while gaining practical workplace experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records and databases.
- File, organize, and retrieve physical and electronic documents.
- Photocopy, scan, print, and distribute documents as needed.
- Assist in preparing reports, letters, forms, and other office documents.
- Sort and manage incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Maintain office filing systems and records.
- Support staff with administrative and clerical tasks.
- Answer and direct phone calls or inquiries professionally.
- Assist with inventory and tracking of office supplies.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a program related to Business Administration, Office Administration, or a similar field.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email applications.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
