Our brand, Lennor Metier Consulting, a DOLE-licensed headhunting and recruitment agency in the Philippines, is proud to partner with a reputable insurance and risk management company in their search for an Actuarial Specialist based in Taguig City.

Salary Range: Open

Work Setup: Hybrid

Location: Taguig City

The role

The Actuarial Specialist is responsible for providing analytical and actuarial support in assessing risk, pricing insurance products, reserving, and supporting financial decision-making. This role requires strong quantitative skills, actuarial exam progress, and hands-on experience within an insurance organization. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in actuarial science and practical exposure to actuarial modeling and insurance data analysis.

Your Responsibilities

  • Perform actuarial analyses related to pricing, reserving, valuation, and risk assessment
  • Develop, maintain, and validate actuarial models and assumptions
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and profitability drivers
  • Support product development, rate reviews, and experience studies
  • Assist in financial forecasting, solvency assessments, and regulatory reporting
  • Prepare actuarial reports, presentations, and documentation for internal stakeholders and management
  • Collaborate with underwriting, finance, and risk management teams to support business decisions
  • Ensure compliance with internal actuarial standards and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Support audit requests and provide actuarial explanations as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
  • Minimum of 4 years of actuarial experience, preferably within an insurance organization (life, non-life, or health insurance)
  • Hands-on experience in actuarial analysis, pricing, reserving, or valuation
  • Completion of several actuarial examinations, such as Probability, Financial Mathematics, Fundamental of Math
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into business recommendations
