About the Role
As an Accounts Receivable Associate, you will play a key role in maintaining strong cash flow and ensuring accurate, timely billing and collections. This role supports the broader finance and operations teams and is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
In this role, you'll:
- Generate and issue client invoices accurately and on time
- Apply cash receipts and reconcile customer accounts
- Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on past-due balances
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding billing questions and discrepancies
- Coordinate with operations and leadership to ensure billing accuracy
- Maintain accounts receivable schedules and supporting documentation
- Assist with month-end close and AR-related reconciliations
- Support continuous improvement of billing and collection processes
What We're Looking For
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of accounts receivable or billing experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Proficiency with accounting software and Excel
- Experience in professional services or subscription billing environments preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote setting
