Accurate accounts receivable work is critical in finance operations, where every transaction, deposit, and customer account update must be handled with speed and accuracy. As an Accoutns Receivable Accountant, you will post daily payments, reconcile AR balances, resolve discrepancies, maintain customer records, and support month-end close. The Qualifications We Seek
- Minimum2 years of hands-on Accounts Receivable experience, with strong exposure to high-volume cash application
- Direct experience in AR functions such as payment posting, unapplied cash resolution, customer account maintenance, AR reconciliation, and payment discrepancy handling
- Strong understanding of basic accounting and finance principles
- Experience in accounting or finance operations, preferably within shared services, high-volume transaction, or fast-paced business environments
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel at intermediate level or above
- Excellent math, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail when reviewing payments, deposits, customer accounts, and reconciliations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and responding to inquiries
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle payment-related concerns professionally
- Ability to manage confidential information, multiple tasks, and competing priorities
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with accounting, finance, sales, and collections teams
- Experience with NetSuite is an advantage
- Willing and able to work onsite in Ortigas
- Willing and able to work night shift
Your Daily Tasks
- Record daily receipts and deposits with accuracy and within set processing timelines
- Prepare AR reports, update account details, and process necessary account corrections
- Investigate unapplied payments and coordinate resolution for outstanding cash items
- Handle account-related inquiries through email or phone with timely and professional responses
- Partner with finance, accounting, sales, and collections teams to address payment variances
- Reconcile receivables balances to the general ledger and assist with month-end and year-end close tasks
- Follow internal controls, flag exceptions when needed, and assist with other finance-related assignments
