Sarisuki is looking for an experienced
Accounts Payable Specialist who will be part of the Finance Team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure team & organization compliance with Accounts Payable process and procedure, with any deviation identified, resolved and escalated on a timely manner
- Identify and recommend improvement on the Accounts Payable process and procedure
- Manage company's accounts payable and work closely with the requestor, and strategize on payments of long outstanding due
- Be continuously abreast on tax changes, responsible in executing tax updates and changes, and conduct tax education or training, if needed
- Responsible in tax compliance: filing, payment, and reporting
- Assist in the Cash Flow forecasting and work with relevant heads on the payment priority per schedule
- Able to do a Root Cause Analysis and ensure non-repetition of the same problem
- Able to successfully resolve issues but know when to escalate challenges and errors to senior leaders
- Ad-hoc tasks as might be asked to do by the head of the department and/or management
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years relevant work experience in Accounts Payable
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting courses
- Comprehensive tax knowledge and experience in tax filing are required
- Technologically adept and has familiarity with any Accounts Payable or Accounting platform or system, either commercial or proprietary
- Working knowledge in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools is a plus
- Experience in a start-up company is preferred
- Excellent stakeholder management, organizational, time management and communication skills
- Analytical and able to connect dots on a bigger scale
- Willing to report daily in San Juan, Manila office
