Position: Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Global One, Eastwood, Quezon City

Your Role:

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role plays a key part in maintaining good vendor relationships and supporting the Finance Department in managing company expenditures.

You will:

Review and verify invoices and check requests for appropriate documentation and approval.

Enter and process vendor invoices into the accounting system.

Schedule and prepare check runs, electronic fund transfers (EFTs), and other payment methods.

Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve invoice discrepancies.

Maintain vendor files and ensure accurate vendor information in the system.

Respond to vendor inquiries and reconcile vendor statements.

Assist in month-end closing activities, including accruals and reporting.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and tax regulations (e.g., VAT, Withholding Tax, BIR compliance).

Coordinate with procurement, receiving, and other departments to resolve issues related to billing and payments.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.

At least 12 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.

Knowledge of Philippine tax laws related to payables (e.g., EWT, VAT).

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.

Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills
