The Role

The Accounts Payable Associate will be responsible for managing the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all payables. This role is heavily focused on execution and accuracy, playing a key part in maintaining vendor relationships, processing invoices, and supporting compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Budget Tracking: Assist in the development and maintenance of project budgets by tracking expenses, monitoring variances, and ensuring adherence to financial plans.
  • Invoice Processing: Coordinate the processing of invoices from vendors, contractors, and service providers, verifying accuracy and completeness before submission for payment.
  • Expense Reconciliation: Reconcile expenses against approved budgets and purchase orders, resolving discrepancies and ensuring that all expenditures are properly accounted for and documented.
  • Payroll Support: Provide support for payroll processing activities, distribution of paychecks or direct deposits to production personnel and staff. Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and contractual obligations, including withholding tax requirements.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the finance team, such as filing documents, organizing financial records, and assisting with other tasks as needed to facilitate smooth operations.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (preferred).
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace
  • Preferred familiarity with Xero, and other financial software systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a global, cross-functional team environment.
  • Can work in a flexible schedule following business needs.
  • Hybrid work setup: Tuesday to Thursday on-site
