Title: Accounts Payable Administrator

Position Status: Full-time, renewable contract

Working Hours: Monday Friday, 8:30 am - 5 pm EST time zone

Evlv is currently working with a Toronto-based consumer goods company with a global presence that has an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable Administrator.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years experience in Accounts Payable
  • SAP experience is a must
  • Flexible, detail-oriented, accurate, and able to prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work EST hours
  • Experience working with volume
  • Highly motivated to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

The responsibilities will include:

  • Payment runs experience is a MUST
  • Assist with the daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly responsibilities of the Accounts Payable team
  • Review invoices and payment requisitions for appropriate approval in accordance with the Global Authorization Matrix (GAM) and P2P Policy
  • Park and post invoices accurately and promptly
  • Reconcile vendor statements with AP records and prepare reconciliation reports on a monthly or quarterly basis
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies and payment issues promptly
  • Provide support for other areas of Accounts Payable functions as needed
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation for all AP transactions
  • Support external and internal audits, including Sales Tax audits, by providing required documentation and explanations on a timely basis
  • Ensure all AP processes align with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements
  • Support ongoing system implementations and upgrades (e.g., SAP, VIM, Concur, etc.)
  • Perform user acceptance testing (UAT), validation, and data verification for new functionalities and process changes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on automation and digital transformation initiatives
