Your Role
The Accounts Officer will mainly be responsible for the managing the accounts payable function, including being the main contact for any queries that may arise internally or externally relating to accounts payable.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Processing all supplier invoices received for general business expenses
- Processing all matter-related EFT payment requests for both office account and trust account
- Coding of disbursements and trust transactions into practice management system
- Daily bank reconciliation for accounts payable and trust transaction
- Reconciliation of credit card expenses, including liaising with company employees to confirm credit card expense details/receipts
- Assistance with month end accounts processes, including trust reporting
- Assistance with audits and variance analysis
- Monitoring and actioning the Accounts Payable shared inbox
- Attending to general finance-related queries
- Any other ad hoc tasks that may arise to assist the Finance Manager
