Accounts Assistant (₱40K | Onsite | FREE AI Certification)

Cebu City | Onsite (IT Park) | Day Shift (8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Monday–Friday)

You own the transactional integrity of an Australian-based executive search and recruitment firm. You are not just handling paperwork; you are a finance specialist responsible for the end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) lifecycle using Xero. You eliminate financial friction by ensuring 3-way matching for supplier invoices, managing debtor collections, and maintaining audit-ready balance sheet reconciliations.

This is a high-accountability role that exists to stabilize the cash flow and financial reporting of a premium professional services environment. Best suited for accounting professionals who thrive in structured day-shift environments, value data accuracy, and prefer clear operational procedures over ambiguity.

You're Likely a Strong Fit If You Have

  • Experience with accounting functions such as accounts payable and receivable.
  • Strong Excel skills for reconciliations and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Xero or similar accounting software.
  • Knowledge of payroll processes and compliance regulations.

Strong Signals

  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Accounting (or currently pursuing).
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience with financial reporting and working with auditors.

Responsibility Pillars

Payables & Supplier Governance

You manage the outflow of capital, ensuring every payment is validated and scheduled with precision.

  • Process supplier invoices and credit notes, matching them to purchase orders or internal approvals.
  • Prepare and schedule payments using Australian methods including EFT and BPAY.
  • Reconcile supplier statements monthly to resolve discrepancies and maintain vendor trust.

Receivables & Revenue Collection

You act as the primary gatekeeper for the firm's revenue, ensuring timely collection and accurate allocation.

  • Raise and manage customer invoices with 100% accuracy in Xero.
  • Allocate receipts and reconcile debtor accounts to provide real-time visibility on cash flow.
  • Assist with credit control by proactively following up on overdue accounts and maintaining detailed customer records.

Financial Integrity & Reconciliation

You transform raw bank data into a Single Source of Truth for the organization.

  • Conduct daily bank reconciliations and manage petty cash/company credit card logs.
  • Support month-end close activities by assisting with balance sheet schedules and financial reporting.
  • Ensure all documentation is kept clean, current, and ready for internal or external audits.
