Job Description

The Accounting/Tax Manager will perform general accounting functions, which include but are not limited to general ledger accountability and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate should have at least three (3) years of experience/knowledge in the hospitality industry, specializing in handling tax matters, and should also have a bachelor's degree in accountancy or equivalent. He/she should be pleasant and mature, with good inter-relationship skills, and experience in managing people. He/she should also be organized, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, and should know the SUN accounting system.

The Accounting/Tax Manager will ensure that sufficient fund is maintained in the hotel's bank accounts to meet payment requirements. He/she should also ensure all financial records are maintained in compliance with the existing policies and procedures, handle reportorial requirements for BIR and SEC, prepare fund transfer and check payments, and be in charge of all tax matters including tax return preparation and filing for both the hotel and the managing company.
