Job Summary
The Accounting Supervisor Tax & Audit Specialist is responsible for overseeing financial disbursements, ensuring rigorous tax compliance, and managing corporate documentation. This role requires a high level of accuracy in financial reporting and proactive management of statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Disbursements and Banking
Perform comprehensive reconciliation of all bank disbursements between internal records and bank statements.
Act as the primary Maker for all online payment transactions and disbursements.
Facilitate and process telegraphic transfers and international payments.
Manage the documentation and preparation of bank loan renewal requirements.
Payroll and Compensation Management
Audit and verify payroll and final pay calculations prior to disbursement.
Maintain a summary of employee compensation and calculate all corresponding statutory taxes.
Tax Compliance and Reporting
Calculate monthly Value Added Tax and Withholding Taxes.
Prepare and file monthly excise tax reports regarding production removal and payments.
Generate quarterly Summary Lists of Sales and Purchases.
Prepare quarterly Alphabetical Lists of Payees and Summary Alphalists of Withholding Taxes.
Compliance and Asset Management
Direct the annual renewal process for business permits and licenses.
Maintain updated corporate permits and monitor Secretary Certificates.
Track and manage insurance schedules for company vehicles and property.
Financial Reporting and Auditing
Prepare and monitor detailed schedules for Balance Sheet accounts and various expense categories.
Ensure all financial activities adhere to internal audit standards and regulatory requirements.
Candidate Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, Business Management, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of six months of professional experience in accounting, tax compliance, or audit functions.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in tax software, online banking platforms, and advanced financial reporting.
