- Review and fix the existing Chart of Accounts to ensure proper structure and compliance
- Record, adjust, and correct journal entries accurately
- Categorize and reconcile all bank and credit card transactions
- Set up rules and automation for regular expenses and income items
- Generate standard financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Ensure tax compliance by maintaining properly classified and labeled accounts (e.g., input/output VAT)
- Work closely with the business owner or accountant for monthly reporting and audit readiness
- Clean historical data and ensure transaction consistency
- Manage QuickBooks Online integrations (e.g., banks, payroll, 3rd party tools if needed)
Proven experience with QuickBooks Online Plus (not just desktop version)
At least 23 years accounting/bookkeeping experience
Solid understanding of accounting principles (debits, credits, accrual, journal entries)
- Familiarity with the Philippine tax system (VAT, withholding tax, etc.) is a strong advantage
Experience cleaning up or migrating messy QuickBooks accounts is a huge plus
Detail-oriented and accurate with a strong sense of organization
Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets
Trustworthy, able to handle confidential financial data
