Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist who is highly knowledgeable in tax compliance and capable of preparing accurate financial statements. The ideal candidate has a solid background in accounting principles, local tax regulations (BIR), and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure BIR tax compliance including VAT, Expanded Withholding Tax, Income Tax Returns, and other government filings
Maintain accurate general ledger entries and reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports
Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies as needed
Support budgeting and forecasting activities
Maintain proper documentation for all accounting transactions
Bachelors degree in Accountancy or related field
At least 35 years of experience in accounting or finance
Knowledgeable in Philippine taxation (BIR rules and regulations)
Proficient in preparing complete financial statements
Familiarity with accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar)
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and integrity
CPA is an advantage but not required
