About the Role – Accounting Specialist (Reporting & FP&A)

As the Accounting Specialist, you will be focusing on financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and accurate reporting. Your role will involve analyzing financial data, preparing budgets and forecasts, and collaborating closely with various departments to provide valuable insights that drive strategic decision-making. Key duties and responsibilities typically include:

• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making processes and provide actionable insights to management.

• Prepare detailed financial reports, including budget vs. actual analysis, variance reports, and forecasting models.

• Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

• Collaborate with department heads to gather financial data and provide guidance on budget management.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on financial performance to relevant stakeholders.

• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and generate insightful reports to aid in special projects and initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies in all financial reporting activities.

• Contribute to process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting procedures.

• Maintains the integrity of the accounting records by performing regular reconciliation that supports the preparation of accurate financial reports. Perform tasks related to the monthly closing (e.g. bank reconciliation, accruals etc.

Qualifications:

• Must be a CPA, Degree in Accounting

• At least 3 years of experience preparing internal and external financial reports.

• Team player and excited to learn new things

• Highly skilled in using MS Excel and other reporting tools. Some experience in an audit firm preferred.
