Job Description

About The Role

Responsible for managing financial transactions, creating and maintaining financial reports, managing invoices and accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with accounting and legal requirements and preparing budgets and analyzing all financial activities.

What Youll Be Doing (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES)

  • Ensuring compliance with all accounting, computing taxes and financial regulations
  • Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards.
  • Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data.
  • Creating and monitoring of periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and sales, to ensure accurate financial information and forecasting
  • Performing audits and resolving discrepancies.
  • Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Maintaining and reviewing accurate financial records.
  • Evaluating internal management systems, procedures, and risks in order to provide recommendations
  • Participate in the development and implementation of financial systems, processes, and procedures
  • Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor in fulfilling the effectiveness of the position

What Skills & Experience Youll Bring To Us (QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • At least t 1 year - UP of experience in accounting or finance in the logistics industry
  • Strong knowledge and competencies of accounting principles and regulations
  • Excellent communication skills both in written and verbal English and Filipino
  • Excellent time, organizational, and self-management skills and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organization
  • Strong sense of responsibility; ability to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Professional certification, such as CPA, is a plus.
  • Strong customer service and analytical skills
  • Proactive and adaptable to changing work environments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or SAP
