Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Accounting Officer. The Accounting Officer will be responsible for:
- Preparing and analyzing financial statements
- Managing day-to-day accounting operations
- Ensuring compliance with tax and financial regulations
- Utilizing accounting software for efficient and accurate record-keeping
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero
- Experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Knowledge of relevant tax laws and financial regulations is an advantage
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Minimum of 3 years of general accounting work experience
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus
