Our brand, Lennor Metier Consulting, a DOLE-licensed headhunting and recruitment agency in the Philippines, is proud to partner with a reputable food service company in their search for an Accounting Officer (Supervisory) based in Davao City.

Salary Range: 18,000 - 20,000

Work Setup: Onsite

Shift Schedule: Day Shift

Location: Davao City

The role

The Accounting Officer (Supervisory) is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. This role supervises accounting processes, oversees financial data analysis, and provides recommendations to support management in decision-making.

Your Responsibilities

  • Supervise and maintain accurate accounting records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Monitor budget performance, conduct variance analysis, and recommend cost-control measures.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee the preparation and submission of statutory reports (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, etc.).
  • Manage and guide accounting staff to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to company policies and deadlines.
  • Review and enhance accounting processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, external auditors, and government agencies as necessary.
  • Safeguard financial data by ensuring integrity, confidentiality, and proper internal controls.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 35 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Experience in budget preparation, cost monitoring, and variance analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and bookkeeping practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational ability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in handling financial information.
