Accounting Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting knowledge, leadership skills, and experience managing accounting functions in a fast-paced business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and address audit findings.
• Monitor inventory accounting, cost accounting, and account reconciliations.
• Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes.
• Lead and develop the accounting team.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial records and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related field.
• CPA license is strongly preferred.
• At least 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience, including supervisory or managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of PFRS, taxation, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, retail, or distribution is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems or ERP platforms.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates with experience in SGV & Co. (EY), PwC Philippines, Deloitte Philippines, or KPMG Philippines, particularly in external audit, assurance, or financial reporting.
• Experience in a large-scale business with multiple branches, inventory, or distribution operations is an advantage.
• Candidates with a combination of Big Four audit experience and industry accounting experience are highly desirable.
