Tough Mama Home & Kitchen AppliancesWe are looking for an experienced, hands-on Head of Accounting to lead our accounting team and oversee daily financial operations and tax compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy; CPA is an advantage
• Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, including leadership or managerial experience
• Strong knowledge of BIR tax compliance, filings, and deadlines
• Extensive experience in operational accounting, AP, AR, and General Ledger
• Skilled in financial reporting, reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, and internal controls
• Proven experience in managing, mentoring, and training accounting staff
• Proficient in Excel and accounting systems
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or trading is an advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, and GL
• Ensure accurate and timely BIR filings and government compliance
• Manage financial reporting, collections, payments, and accounting deadlines
• Lead, train, and supervise the accounting team
• Improve accounting processes and internal controls
