We're Hiring: Accounting Manager!

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team in Makati, Philippines. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, with a proven track record of managing financial operations effectively.

POSITION: ACCOUNTING MANAGER

JOB LOCATION: Makati City
WORK ARRANGEMENT: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (full-time onsite role)

SALARY RANGE & BENEFITS: 100K to 120K gross per month, HMO (employee only), 13th month bonus, leaves, plus government mandated benefits
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities:

• Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
• Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
• Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
• Assist the Senior Accounting Manager and Controller in transaction approvals.
• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of positive pay transactions.
• Ensure the monthly and quarterly Tax Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Support budget and forecasting activities.
• Collaborate with other department managers to support overall department goals and objectives.
• Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and resource utilization while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Advise staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions.
• Respond to inquiries from the CEO, President, Controllers, and firm-wide managers regarding financial results, special reporting requests and the like.
• Work with the Senior Accounting Manager and Controller to ensure a clean and timely year-end audit.
• Supervise the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the department's workflow.
• Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.
• Handle personnel issues relating to staff conflicts, absenteeism, performance issues, etc.
• Work with each direct report to establish goals and objectives for each year and monitor and advise on progress to enhance staff's professional development.
• Support the Senior Accounting Manager and Controller with special projects and workflow process improvements.
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BSAccountancy/Accounting;MBA is an advantage
• Must be a CPA(Certified Public Accountant)
• Must havefinance/accounting team leadership/managementexperience
• Preferably someone with experience in an auditing firm,but not necessarily a requirement
• Must be willing to work full-time and onsite in Makati City
