Job Description

Job Summary:

The Accounting Manager handles the company's accounting operations, ensures accurate financial records, and supports management through timely reports and compliance in a fast-paced food service environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting activities including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and inventory.
  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements and management reports.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax requirements.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing.
  • Monitor food cost, inventory, and operating expenses.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures.
  • Supervise and guide accounting staff and branch bookkeepers.
  • Coordinate with operations, auditors, banks, and government agencies.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and basic financial analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (CPA is an advantage, but not required).
  • At least 7-10 years of accounting experience, preferably in food service or hospitality.
  • Knowledge of food costing and inventory accounting.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and leadership skills.
