Job Summary:
The Accounting Manager handles the company's accounting operations, ensures accurate financial records, and supports management through timely reports and compliance in a fast-paced food service environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting activities including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and inventory.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax requirements.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing.
- Monitor food cost, inventory, and operating expenses.
- Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Supervise and guide accounting staff and branch bookkeepers.
- Coordinate with operations, auditors, banks, and government agencies.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and basic financial analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (CPA is an advantage, but not required).
- At least 7-10 years of accounting experience, preferably in food service or hospitality.
- Knowledge of food costing and inventory accounting.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and leadership skills.
