Accounting Manager

As an Accounting Manager, you'll oversee accounting processes across multiple client engagements, maintain accurate financial records, support month-end close activities, and help improve scalable accounting workflows in a fast-paced outsourced accounting environment.

What you'll do
- Accounting operations & financial management: Maintain accurate general ledgers across multiple client entities; manage month-end and year-end close processes; prepare and review journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Systems & process management: Operate and optimize accounting systems including QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Expensify, Prendio, and related tools; oversee accounts payable workflows and expense management processes.
- Team supervision & collaboration: Supervise, review, and mentor junior accounting team members across client engagements; provide regular updates to leadership regarding deliverables, workflow, and capacity.
- Reporting & operational support: Support budgeting, forecasting, audit preparation, and ad hoc financial projects while maintaining audit-ready financial records.
- Process improvement & client support: Identify opportunities to improve workflows, implement scalable accounting procedures, and ensure timely, high-quality client deliverables across multiple engagements.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Experience working in outsourced accounting, public accounting, or multi-entity environments preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and modern accounting tools such as Bill.com, Expensify, and Prendio.
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior accounting staff.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close best practices.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple clients in a deadline-driven environment.
