ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management & Reporting
- Oversee daily accounting operations (accounts payable, receivable, payroll, general ledger).
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and schedules.
- Monitor company budgets, forecasts, and expenditures.
Compliance & Controls
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and government reporting requirements.
- Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.
Team Supervision & Leadership
- Supervise and train accounting staff, assign tasks, and review work outputs.
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Foster collaboration with other departments (e.g., HR, Operations, Sales).
Process Improvement
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and systems.
- Recommend improvements for efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Support automation and digitalization of accounting processes.
Decision Support
- Provide financial analysis and insights to management for decision-making.
- Support strategic planning and cost-saving initiatives.
- Handle special projects such as feasibility studies and business expansion support.
QualificationsEducation:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is a plus but not required
Experience:
- At least 5+ years of accounting experience, with 23 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
- Experience in corporate accounting, taxation, and auditing.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP), and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting systems/software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero, Oracle).
- Advanced MS Excel and financial analysis skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
