Accounting Manager

Financial Management & Reporting

• Oversee daily accounting operations (accounts payable, receivable, payroll, general ledger).
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and schedules.
• Monitor company budgets, forecasts, and expenditures.

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and government reporting requirements.
• Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.

Team Supervision & Leadership

• Supervise and train accounting staff, assign tasks, and review work outputs.
• Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Foster collaboration with other departments (e.g., HR, Operations, Sales).

Process Improvement

• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and systems.
• Recommend improvements for efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
• Support automation and digitalization of accounting processes.

Decision Support

• Provide financial analysis and insights to management for decision-making.
• Support strategic planning and cost-saving initiatives.
• Handle special projects such as feasibility studies and business expansion support.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is a plus but not required

Experience:

• At least 5+ years of accounting experience, with 23 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Experience in corporate accounting, taxation, and auditing.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP), and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting systems/software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero, Oracle).
• Advanced MS Excel and financial analysis skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
