About the Position:

Epic Staffing Group is looking for a(an) Accounting Manager who will be responsible for managing and coordinating complex accounting operations across functions or entities. This role ensures the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial reporting, oversees end-to-end close processes, and drives alignment across accounting activities. The Accounting Manager applies advanced technical expertise to resolve complex accounting issues, strengthen processes and controls, and support audit readiness and compliance while partnering cross-functionally to support broader financial objectives. This position follows a night shift schedule and operates under a remote work setup, with some days required on-site.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee and manage complex accounting activities across multiple areas, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Lead end-to-end month-end and year-end close processes, including coordination across stakeholders and functions.
  • Prepare and review complex journal entries and financial transactions, including high-impact or judgmental areas.
  • Oversee and review account reconciliations, ensuring timely completion and resolution of issues.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data used for internal reporting and analysis.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Tax, Operations) to support financial reporting and business initiatives.
  • Research and resolve complex accounting issues, applying advanced knowledge of GAAP and company policies.
  • Support the preparation and review of internal financial statements and reporting packages.
  • Coordinate audit activities and ensure readiness by maintaining accurate documentation and controls.
  • Drive improvements to accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Lead or play a key role in system implementations, process transformations, and finance-related initiatives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and resource to the broader accounting team, providing guidance and sharing best practices.

What You Bring:

  • 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or multi-entity environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite and experience with general ledger systems.
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting principles.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex accounting processes or multiple functional areas.
  • Experience supporting accounting system transitions or finance-related projects is a plus.
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding the English language as required for effective performance of job duties.
  • Possess an overall knowledge of business functions and understanding of services, business strategy, policies and procedures, and job's impact to the organization.
  • Understand, interpret, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Focus on the details of work content, work steps, and final work products.
  • Make quality decisions and meet timeliness of those decisions. Obtain facts and data pertaining to an issue or question.

Your Shift: Night Shift

Your Work Setup: Remote (with some days onsite)

Additional details:

  • Office Location: Makati Sky Plaza 6788, Ayala, Makati City
  • Work Setup: WFH after completing the 1–2-week onsite training
  • Training Support: We provide hotel accommodation to help you transition smoothly during training.
  • Return-to-office: No fixed RTO – only based on business needs (e.g., U.S. team visits, events), typically once or twice a quarter, or none at all.
