Manage and supervise the day-to-day activities of the accounting department.
Ensure compliance with rules, regulations, and tax reporting to BIR on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis as well as external audits.
Handle customs documentation, import/export tax requirements, and liaise with the Bureau of Customs when needed.
Prepare financial reports, budget forecasts, and variance analysis.
Maintain accurate ledgers and financial records in accordance with PH accounting standards.
Supervise and support the accounting staff; review journal entries and reconciliations.
Make improvements to the accounting systems, processes, and internal controls, aiming at increasing their accuracy and efficiency.
Preserve internal controls and compliance with government regulations.
A Bachelors degree in Accounting is required. Candidates with a degree in business administration or finance are also accepted, provided that they have completed specific accounting coursework
Must pass the CPA Examination and the candidate must have an updated CPA license.
Must have at least 1 year or more of relevant work experience in accounting or auditing.
