Accountant

Nature of Employment: Full Time

Working Setup: Hybrid (3 days onsite & 2 days remote)

Location: Makati

Working Schedule: Mid Shift

Basic Salary: Up to PHP 50,000

Role Overview:

The Accountant supports the overall accounting process by preparing reports, performing reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This role is responsible for maintaining the general ledger, reviewing financial data, and supporting reporting and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review balance sheet and profit & loss account analyses
• Process monthly invoicing and financial transactions
• Post journal entries based on reconciliations, adjustments, and audit findings
• Perform account reconciliations (e.g., bank, tax, payroll, fixed assets)
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
• Assist with internal and external audit requirements
• Support financial reporting and compliance requirements
• Maintain and update process documentation
• Provide training and support to team members when needed
• Identify and implement process improvements, including automation
• Handle ad hoc tasks as required by management 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
• At least 5 years of experience in general accounting
• Experience in a shared services, multinational, or audit environment is preferred
• Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP); familiarity with IFRS is an advantage
• Experience using financial/accounting systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
