Job Description:
- We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead and oversee the accounting operations of our Bulacan-based team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, preferably in the FMCG industry, and will ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial reporting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including A/P, A/R, GL, and tax compliance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits.
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and local tax regulations.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
- Collaborate with other departments (sales, supply chain, etc.) to align financial reporting with business goals.
- Analyze financial data to support decision-making and business strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA license is preferred, but not strictly required (especially with strong FMCG experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Solid experience in FMCG or manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, BIR compliance, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficient in accounting systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar ERP software).
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Must be based in Bulacan City or willing to relocate.
