We're seeking a Accounting Manager (Broker Compensation) to lead a team of 10 specialists, driving accuracy, efficiency, and innovation in broker compensation processes. This role blends technical accounting, financial control, reporting, automation, and forecasting with leadership and stakeholder engagement across regions.
Key Highlights
- Accounting & Financial Control: Oversee broker compensation accruals, payouts, equity deferrals, and balance sheet reconciliations. Ensure compliance with policies and audit readiness.
- Reporting & Oversight: Deliver reliable compensation figures, supervise reconciliations, and provide clear reporting to regional managers.
- Automation & Process Improvement: Lead system enhancements, streamline workflows, and strengthen controls through technology-driven solutions.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Support annual P&L and balance sheet forecasts, analyze compensation trends, and provide insights into business performance.
- Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Strong background in financial services (broker-dealer, trading, or capital markets).
- Expertise in control frameworks, balance sheet substantiation, and automation projects.
- Proven team leadership experience with advanced skills in Excel and financial systems (Oracle, SmartView/ASO, Hubble, OneStream).
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and resilient, with excellent communication skills.
