Key Responsibilities
- Review and finalize financial statements for external clients, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Perform and support complex US GAAP accounting matters, including ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and ASC 842 (Lease Accounting), where applicable
- Maintain and manage general ledgers, including journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments
- Handle or oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
- Support payroll processing and assist with payroll tax filings for multiple clients
- Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and adjustments
- Review financial data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency across engagements
- Communicate directly with clients to resolve discrepancies and provide financial guidance
- Ensure financials are clean, organized, and ready for tax preparation
- Operate as a hands-on individual contributor, owning the review, accuracy, and final delivery of client financials
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 58+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably supporting U.S.-based clients
- Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting, including end-to-end financial processes
- Experience reviewing and working with offshore-prepared accounting work is highly preferred
- Experience with technical US GAAP topics, including ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and ASC 842 (Lease Accounting), is a plus
- Must be comfortable in direct client-facing conversations, explaining accounting treatment and resolving discrepancies
- Experience managing multiple client accounts with competing priorities and deadlines
- Exposure to or hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms
- Solid understanding of corporate accounting principles, payroll processing, and financial reporting
- Proven experience working with US-based or international clients
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
