Responsibilities
1. Assist in preparing financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
2. Support the accounting team in daily accounting tasks, such as data entry, reconciliation, and invoice processing.
3. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
4. Support in the preparation of audits and liaise with external auditors when required.
5. Handle administrative tasks related to finance and accounting operations, including organising files and documents.
6. Assist with opening and managing company bank accounts, including liaising with banks and ensuring all necessary documentation is provided.
Requirements
1. Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
2. Knowledge of Accounting Principles: Familiarity with basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Strong skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with financial software or accounting tools is a plus.
4. Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts in a clear manner.
5. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
6. Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other departments.
7. Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to identify issues and propose solutions in a fast-paced environment.
8. Ethical Conduct: A strong sense of responsibility and ethical conduct in handling financial data.
9. Languages: Proficiency in English, with Chinese language skills preferred.
