Our team of lawyers and strategists advises some of the world's most important technology and gaming companies on high-stakes projects across crypto, fintech, and gaming.

We are growing rapidly across multiple jurisdictions and we need someone to own and build our accounting and financial operations function from the ground up.

We are looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial Accounting & Finance Manager to join our team in BGC, Taguig. Reporting directly to the COO, you will be responsible for setting up the systems, processes, and controls that will support Arden's next phase of growth. This is a foundational roleyou won't be inheriting a playbook; you'll be writing it.

What you'll do

Own the full accounting function across Arden's Philippine and Singapore entitiesfrom bookkeeping and reconciliations to financial reporting and compliance.

Design and implement accounting systems, workflows, and internal controls tailored to a multi-jurisdiction consulting firm.

Set up and manage our financial technology stack, including cloud accounting (Xero), cross-border payments (Airwallex, Wise), and expense management tools.

Manage statutory compliance across both jurisdictions, including tax filings (BIR, IRAS), audit coordination, and regulatory reporting.

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable end-to-end, including payroll processing, vendor payments, client invoicing, collections, and cash flow management.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to inform strategic decision-making by the partners and COO.

Enable the consulting team by managing the financial and administrative operations that allow our lawyers and strategists to focus on client delivery.

Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners as needed.

Develop and implement billing systems and processesincluding engagement tracking, time-based and fixed-fee billing, and client payment workflowsto support the consulting team's growing client portfolio.

Hire, develop, and manage a finance and accounting team as the firm scalesbuilding the function from a one-person operation into a high-performing team over time.

Continuously improve financial processes, identify efficiencies, and implement best practices as the firm scales.

What we're looking for...

Licensed CPA; degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field from a top-tier Philippine university.

25 years of experience in accounting, audit, or financeideally with exposure to a Big 4 firm, professional services environment, or a high-growth startup.

Strong working knowledge of Philippine tax and accounting regulations; familiarity with Singapore financial reporting standards is a plus.

Hands-on experience with cloud-based accounting software (Xero preferred) and modern fintech tools (Airwallex, Wise, etc.).

Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams independently.

Strong communication skillsyou'll work closely with a team of lawyers, strategists, and international stakeholders.

A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action and continuous improvement.

Nice to have...

Experience setting up accounting or finance functions from scratch at a startup or scaling company.

Exposure to multi-currency transactions and cross-border financial operations.

Familiarity with the gaming, technology, or professional services industries.

Interest in process automation and leveraging AI tools for financial operations.
