We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Accounting Assistant to join our Property Management and Real Estate team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing the financial aspects of property management, real estate, and leasing operations. The Accounting Assistant will support the team with accurate record-keeping, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
Job Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Experience from real estate industry is a plus, but not required
- Full-Time position(s) available.
- Willing to be assigned to Torre Malate.
- Willing to work from Monday - Saturday, 8:30-5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable & Payable:
- Process and track tenant rent payments, deposits, and fees.
- Prepare and send out billing statements to tenants and vendors.
- Ensure all invoices are paid in a timely manner and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Reconcile tenant accounts and vendor payments.
Financial Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for property management.
- Provide support for periodic audits and financial reviews.
General Ledger:
- Assist in maintaining the general ledger by entering journal entries, balancing accounts, and correcting discrepancies.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Property Management Support:
- Assist property managers with financial data and documentation related to property operations.
Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants and landlords regarding payment issues, lease queries, and other related matters.
- Respond to inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a professional and timely manner.
