Location: Clark
Shift: 9:00PM - 6:00AM (Monday-Friday) PHT
Work Arrangement: Onsite

ABOUT THE ROLE:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform month end close tasks, including preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement analysis within the set deadlines.
  • Support the monthly and quarterly financial statements process by updating assigned working papers and ensuring these are prepared in accordance with the U.S. GAAP reporting requirements and company policies.
  • Routinely communicate with decision makers within the organization relating to financial close, issues, and deliverables
  • Create new and/or improve existing processes and procedures while making best use of automation tools
  • Assist with internal and external audits through timely resolution of audit requests and questions
  • Assist managers in reviewing and approving certain journal entries
  • Collaborate with, coach, and train junior team members
  • Perform other duties or ad hoc projects within the scope of responsibilities such as supporting our tax team's requirements.
  • Assist with compilation of internal and external financial statements and other schedules/reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4 yr. degree in accounting or finance, CPA is a strong plus
  • You have 3-5 years progressive accounting experience. Start-up/FinTech/lending experience strongly preferred. Big 4 or other top-tier accounting firm experience is a strong plus.
  • Tech savvy and highly proficient with Excel. Familiar with key functions (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, etc.). NetSuite, FloQast, or WDesk experience is a strong plus.
  • Strong mindset for continuous improvements
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with keen attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and execute quickly and effectively in a high-paced, fast changing, and structured work environment
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently and handle multiple demands from different teams
  • Dependable, organized, motivated and trustworthy
