Job Description

The Medical City South Luzon is searching for a strategic and detail-oriented Accounting & Financial Analysis Manager (CPA) to join our team and help ensure the financial integrity and sustainability of the organization. This role is responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, planning, and analysis while providing leadership and insights that support sound financial and strategic decisions.

What's The Role All About

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the hospital's accounting operations, including the general ledger and disbursement processes.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and liaise with auditors and regulatory agencies such as the BIR.
  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets, financial plans, and forecasts.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide insights based on budget, forecast, and prior year comparisons.
  • Conduct financial analysis to evaluate projects, business opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop financial models and reports to support management decision-making.
  • Partner with the Head of Finance and other leaders to support strategic planning.
  • Lead and develop the financial reporting team, ensuring efficient and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting processes and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with different departments to gather financial data and communicate insights clearly.
  • Monitor team and individual performance to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Who Are We Looking For

An effective Accounting & Financial Analysis Manager must possess the following skills:

  • Financial Reporting & Compliance: Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Ability to develop budgets, forecasts, financial models, and provide data-driven insights for decision-making.
  • Strategic Thinking: Capability to evaluate financial implications of projects, initiatives, and long-term strategies.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Experience in mentoring, guiding, and managing finance professionals while fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Process Improvement: Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements in financial reporting and accounting processes.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to explain complex financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret financial data to support operational and strategic decisions.

Ideally, candidates must be graduates of a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, and financial planning and analysispreferably in a healthcare or corporate settingis highly preferred.
