Job Summary:
The Finance and Accounting Head will lead and oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations for a growing real estate company based in Iloilo City. This role requires end-to-end exposure across financial management, accounting operations, treasury, taxation, budgeting, and compliance.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, capable of driving financial performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, strengthening internal controls, and supporting executive decision-making in a dynamic real estate environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Financial Management & Strategy
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
- Provide strategic financial insights to senior management
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Manage cash flow, capital planning, and funding strategies
2.Accounting Operations
- Oversee general accounting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with PFRS
- Maintain strong internal controls and accounting systems
3.Taxation & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, LGU, and other regulatory requirements
- Oversee tax planning and timely filing of all tax returns
- Coordinate internal and external audits
4.Treasury & Cash Management
- Monitor liquidity and banking relationships
- Manage project funding, loan documentation, and debt servicing
- Optimize working capital and fund allocation
5.Real Estate Financial Oversight
- Monitor project costing, revenue recognition and inventory accounting
- Oversee financial feasibility studies for new developments
- Support pricing strategy and project financial modeling
6.Systems & Process Management
- Lead finance system optimization and reporting enhancements
- Ensure proper utilization, controls, and reporting accuracy within SAP
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives
7.Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team
- Establish KPIs and performance standards
- Drive accountability and performance excellence
Job Qualifications:
- Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
- Minimum of 810 years progressive experience in Finance and Accounting
- At least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role
- Strong experience in the real estate or property development industry
- Required: Hands-on experience using SAP (Finance & Accounting modules)
- Strong background in financial planning, accounting operations, and taxation
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills
Note: This is an onsite job in Iloilo. Iloilo residents and/or candidates who are willing to relocate will be given priority.
