Accounting Analyst

Job Description

Responsible for managing accounts payable, performing reconciliation on several eCommerce platforms of CLiQQ, analyzing financial data, and creating reports for management. This role calls for a strong understanding of financial principles, analytical abilities, and proficiency in handling retail / eCommerce financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage accounts payable requests in a timely and accurate manner.
• Verify and reconcile invoices and payment requests.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Perform reconciliation tasks on various eCommerce platforms associated with CLIQQ.
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies or variances in financial data.
• Maintain accurate records of all reconciliation activities.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reconciliation reports for review.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Assist in forecasting activities.
• Create financial reports for management, highlighting key findings and insights.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all financial reports.
• Develop and maintain reporting templates and tools for efficient data analysis.
• Present financial data and reports to management in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, CMA) is a plus.
• 1 year of experience in a similar role is a plus, preferably within the eCommerce or retail sector.
• Strong knowledge of financial reconciliation.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
• Experience with eCommerce platforms is highly desirable.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
