Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance & Advisory

  • Prepare and review income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
  • Prepare and review BAS, IAS, FBT returns, and support tax planning.
  • Assist with tax forecasting, division 7A, CGT, and other technical tax matters.
  • Provide clear, proactive communication to clients on tax obligations and due dates.

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare and review year-end financial statements in line with accounting standards.
  • Maintain and review working papers and lead schedules.
  • Assist with management reports, variance analysis, and advisory work where needed.

Client Management

  • Manage a portfolio of business clients, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Liaise directly with clients to gather records, clarify information, and offer tailored guidance.
  • Develop strong relationships and support clients with general accounting queries.

Team Support & Review

  • Review work prepared by junior and intermediate accountants.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and on-the-job training to support team development.
  • Collaborate with managers and directors on complex client matters.

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Use cloud-based software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, and Excel.
  • Identify workflow improvements and contribute to process enhancements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry, reporting, and compliance documentation.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • At least 3 years Australian public practice accounting experience with hands-on experience in Australian tax processing.
  • Degree in Accounting or related specializations.
  • Accounting degree qualified, and ideally interested to start CA program.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian tax law, compliance and accounting standards.
  • Confident in preparing and reviewing tax returns and financial reports.
  • Experience with Xero preferred; ability to quickly adapt to other systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with a client-focused approach.
  • Ability to mentor junior staff and work collaboratively in a team.

  • For Intermediate Accountant: up to Php 85,000 + Php 5,000 allowance
  • For Sr. Accountant: up to Php 130,000 + Php 5,000 allowance
  • Schedule: Day Shift
