Accountant

Location: Manila, Phillippines
Work Arrangement: Onsite, Fulltime
Shift: Monday - Friday | 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Night Shift)
Salary Range: Php 53,000 - 75,000

As an Accountant specializing in the hospitality sector, you will be the financial guardian of daily hotel operations. This isn't just about balancing books; it's about providing the high-level oversight and multi-property expertise needed to keep international hotel portfolios running effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced global market.

Your Impact

  • Drive Multi-Property Financial Excellence: Take the lead on end-of-month closings for multiple properties. You will prepare consolidated financial statements, manage complex balance sheet reconciliations, and ensure that every journal entry and accrual is audit-ready and accurate.

  • Ensure Tax & Regulatory Integrity: Navigate the complexities of state and local taxation by preparing returns for sales tax, hotel occupancy, and telecommunications. You will serve as the subject matter expert for property requests, ensuring full compliance across all applicable tax laws.

  • Optimize Operational Workflows: Beyond day-to-day AP/AR and cash management, you will analyze current accounting procedures to recommend and implement improvements. Your insights will help streamline automated consolidation systems and enhance reporting transparency for owners and stakeholders.

What You Bring

  • Education & Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting (preferred) with at least five (5) years of progressive accounting experience. Proven experience managing financial functions for multiple properties or within the hospitality industry is essential.
  • Technical Expertise: A strong mastery of general ledger functions, financial statement preparation, and a solid understanding of insurance premium finance concepts.
  • The Toolkit: Proficiency in NetSuite, Profitsword, or Adra is a significant advantage. You should be highly adept at using MS Office (especially Excel) to manage large datasets and develop complex spreadsheet reports.
